Our Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Our extra virgin olive oil comes from small, family-owned farms in a town called Kharbatha, located in Ramallah in the West Bank. The Palestinian olive oil season starts in mid-October and lasts until late December. Produced from rain-fed, hand-picked olives, the oil is extracted using a natural cold extraction process that preserves all the benefits of this wonderful fruit. This extra virgin oil connects you with farmers whose ancestors have tended their olive trees by hand for countless generations. Palestinian olive oil is known for its strong, distinctive aromatic scent and rich flavor. Extra virgin olive oil, in particular, has a peppery taste and slight bitterness (a desirable characteristic) that fades over time. We import directly from the farmers, offering fresh, seasonal, unfiltered olive oil, olives, and za'atar.
